KUKUI'ULA MODERN RESORT HOME
Completed
The Weigang Marvick residence features 6,800 square feet of covered living with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. This home was designed to be a gathering place for the owners and their extended Ohana with generous entertaining spaces that seamlessly flow from indoor to outdoor. Thoughtful touches like ensuite bathrooms, walk-in closets, lava rock shower gardens and a pair of laundry rooms make the home effortlessly functional while the pool, cabana bar and fire pit inspire fun. There's even a built-in bunk room with a pair of queen-over-queen beds to expand the sleeping accommodations.
Construction was completed in 2020 and we are proud to say we finished in under 2 years and on-time during a pandemic. We are honored and grateful to not only build the home, but took the lead on finish selections and interior design. The owner's have been a dream to partner with and we love seeing the owners and their family enjoying their new home.
KUKUI'ULA KULA MAKAI TRANQUIL HOME

Renowned architect Shay Zak and his ZAK Architecture team have designed a tranquil 4 bedroom and 4.5 bathroom residence that is ideally situated to capture the ocean and mountain views, as well as, welcome the tradewind breezes.
The minimalist Hawaiian home blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor living and encourages a connection and appreciation of nature. Numerous pocketing door systems expand the interior living onto the generous lanais, and a central courtyard with puka lava tiled pathways creates an outdoor hallway and provides access to the guest bedrooms and office. To ensure a relaxing stay, each of the spacious bedrooms feature a private shower garden and all the amenities one would appreciate. With a calm palette and carefully selected finish materials, the home is designed to age gracefully and provide a sanctuary for the owners and their family to gather and reconnect in paradise.
The project team is comprised of highly inspiring individuals and we are honored to collaborate on the home build for such a wonderful family.
KUKUI'ULA BUNGALOW

Construction has been completed on this charming four bedroom and four bathroom modern bungalow with 3,637 square feet under roof. Designed by Jeffrey Berkus Architects, the property includes a main house, guest Ohana, pool, pavilion and detached garage with all the amenities one would expect at a well appointed vacation home.
We loved collaborating with the owners on their island retreat and appreciate the opportunity to build another beautiful home in the community of Kukui'ula.
HALE LAULE'A

With sweeping south shore views, this recently completed home is a stunner! The homeowners searched the island for a place to build their forever home and we are thrilled to help bring their dreams to fruition. Due to the slope of the land, the foundation work was extensive with columns and pool walls exceeding 20 feet high.
To capitalize on the indoor/outdoor lifestyle the island is known for, we created a 3,200 square-foot lanai with pool, jacuzzi and cabana bar extending out on the same level as the home. If you’re looking for a general contractor to manage a complex job, consider this project a testament to our abilities.
KULA MAKAI PLANTATION HOME

Tropical Architecture Group has designed a beautiful traditional Hawaiian plantation home encompassing 6,300 square feet under roof on a stunning view lot within the exclusive Kula Makai neighborhood of Kukui'ula.
The four bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home features generous living and entertainment spaces with family friendly amenities including a sport court, two pool shade pavilions, media room, office, firepit and bunk room perfect for the kiddos. Although the home has generous proportions, the layout is very thoughtful to ensure privacy for each of the bedroom suites and offers plenty of covered lanais to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.

ABOUT US
Brian & Kasey Schoettler
Growing up, Brian developed a passion for building by working with his father at his General Contractor business in San Diego, California. In his free time, Brian worked his way up through the ranks of Boy Scouts to become an Eagle Scout. This instilled the values of honesty and integrity which he continues to live by today. After high school, Brian attended California State University Long Beach where he earned a Business Finance degree and graduated on the Dean's List.
In 2006, Brian moved from San Diego to Kauai with his wife, Kasey, to fulfill a lifelong dream. He began working with a builder and honed his skill as the foreman on numerous custom homes, as well as, notable commercial builds at the Shops at Kukui'ula including: The Dolphin Restaurant, Eating House 1849 and The Lanai Restaurant. In 2010, Brian got his General Contractor's license.
Kasey's career began in hospitality where she spent over 10 years working for luxury resorts including the Four Seasons Aviara, Four Seasons Newport Beach and the Grand Hyatt Kauai in various catering and sales management positions. Within these rolls, she gained project management experience and developed a strong attention-to-detail and customer oriented approach to sales and service. When her family opened Aspire Furniture, an interior design and furniture showroom on Kauai, Kasey joined the family business and refined her interior design skills for 5 years before partnering with Brian full time to focus on building beautiful homes.
Brian and Kasey are extremely passionate about building and have brought together experienced carpenters and tradesmen to join their team. They have aligned themselves with the most reputable subcontractors in the industry in order to ensure every project is done on time, at a competitive rate, while also upholding top quality standards.
